FORT SMITH – Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM) is pleased to congratulate Student Doctor Chantelle Dills-Azzam for receiving the 2024 Excellence in Public Health Award. The award is presented by the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Physician Professional Advisory Committee.
According to USPHS, this national award is given to medical students who advance the USPHS’ mission to protect, promote and advance the health and safety of our nation, and who are helping address public health issues in their community. Since 2012, the Excellence in Public Health Award has been given by the USPHS to inspire medical students across the nation to commit themselves to public health and to become leaders in the field.
Dills-Azzam is slated to graduate from ARCOM in the spring of 2024.
