Emily Colin, a second-year student at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM) has been selected as the ARCOM Student Doctor of the Year. The Student Doctor of the Year committee is comprised of ARCOM faculty and students.

Colin has served as the Class of 2022 Student Representative to the Curriculum Committee and has been an active Student Ambassador. She currently serves as the National Parliamentarian for The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Board of Governors Student Representative to the American Academy of Osteopathy, and is the director of Research and Community Outreach for the ARCOM Student American Academy of Osteopathy chapter. In addition to these time commitments, Colin makes herself available to tutor and help other students. Colin will represent ARCOM at the national level. The National Student DO of the Year is chosen from among the outstanding students selected by their schools on the basis of their service to their college, leadership and research experiences, and dedication to the osteopathic profession.
