
Christopher Loyke, DO, FACOFP
Fort Smith, Arkansas — The Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Loyke, DO, FACOFP, as its next Dean, effective July 1, 2026.
Dr. Loyke brings a wealth of experience in medical education and leadership, most recently serving as Dean and Chief Academic Officer at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, student success, and the advancement of osteopathic medical education.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Loyke to ARCOM,” said Teressa Brown, PT, DPT, PhD, Provost of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE). “His extensive leadership experience and deep understanding of osteopathic medical education make him an outstanding choice to lead ARCOM into its next chapter. We are confident that under his guidance, the college will continue to grow in excellence and impact.”
As Dean, Dr. Loyke will oversee ARCOM’s academic program, faculty development, and strategic initiatives that support ARCOM’s mission to educate and train compassionate, skilled physicians who serve communities in need.
