Courtney Thrower a third-year medical student at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine was recently elected to the national board for the Student Osteopathic Medical Association. Thrower will serve as the Community Outreach Director.
Third-year students from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine were also recently participated in the GIM.Possible (General Internal Medicine) Symposium in Batesville. The event was hosted by the White River Medical Center Internal Medicine Program. ARCOM students received the following awards:

Scholarship for Best Essay: Syed Munir
