FORT SMITH – The Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM) proudly announces the outstanding results of its Class of 2024 Match Day. With 135 students participating, ARCOM celebrates a remarkable 100% match rate, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to producing highly qualified healthcare professionals. 

Of the graduating class, 61% secured placements in primary care specialties, a testament to ARCOM’s dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of communities. Impressively, 41% of matches are within ARCOM’s service area, with 20 students staying to serve in Arkansas and an additional five in Fort Smith. 

The diversity of specialties matched reflects the breadth of expertise cultivated at ARCOM, with students securing positions in dermatology, general surgery, OB/GYN, radiology, neurology, anesthesiology, orthopedic surgery, and pathology. 

Reflecting on this achievement, Dean Shannon Jimenez, DO, expressed her pride in the Class of 2024, stating, “We are immensely proud of our students’ accomplishments on this Match Day. Their dedication and hard work are evident in these exceptional results, and we have every confidence in their ability to make significant contributions to the field of medicine.”
