Why the MSB Linkage Matters
ARCOM’s linkage with ACHE’s MSB program provides a **proven pathway** for well-prepared applicants who demonstrate academic readiness and professionalism aligned with osteopathic medicine.
Pathways for MSB Students
- **Guaranteed Acceptance** for qualified MSB students who meet all benchmarks.
- **Guaranteed Interview** for MSB graduates who complete the program with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and remain in good standing.
- **Regular Application** remains available for applicants who do not meet guaranteed thresholds.
Guaranteed Acceptance Requirements
- **Fall Semester GPA:** 3.2 minimum by the end of the fall semester.
- **Cumulative GPA:** 3.0 minimum upon successful completion of the MSB program.
- **Conduct:** Good standing throughout the MSB program.
- **Recommendations:** One letter from the MSB Program Director and one from an MSB faculty member.
- **Admissions Requirements:** Meet all ARCOM admissions requirements, including a verified AACOMAS application.
MCAT Policy for Linkage Applicants
**No MCAT retake is required** when applying to ARCOM through the MSB linkage pathway. Applicants must still fulfill all other ARCOM admissions requirements and meet published deadlines.
Application Steps for MSB Linkage Candidates
- Ensure you have met the MSB linkage benchmarks (GPA, conduct, recommendations).
- Submit a verified AACOMAS application to ARCOM and indicate the MSB linkage pathway.
- Arrange for required recommendation letters to be sent to ARCOM Admissions.
- Respond promptly to interview scheduling and other admissions communications.
