Graduate Medical Education
Graduate Medical Education (GME) consists of the residency and fellowship programs that prepare medical graduates to become competent, compassionate, board-certified physicians in the specialty or subspecialty of their choice. ARCOM sponsors GME programs and considers its sponsorship integral to the college’s mission of educating and training physicians who are committed to lifelong learning and focused on service to the underserved. Our GME programs provide four essentials:
- Expert board-certified faculty
- Extensive and varied clinical experiences
- Academic support and resources
- Opportunities for research
ARCOM and its ACGME accredited programs met or exceed all ACGME standards.
GME Mission
To provide high quality training programs that are evidenced-based, inclusive, and patient centered so our residents develop into highly competent and compassionate leaders prepared to meet the needs of our communities.
